Continue to Forktown. Make sure men take shifts keeping an eye out for foreign ships. Also, gather four of my most well-educated men to see what they can find out about the treasure map.

Chevy Lond: You continue onwards. Half a day passes and your men continue to watch as the ship grows ever closer. Your four smartest men are as follows, in no particular order: Jim Belfry Fried-Eye Johnson Bufus Beligerry Simon Sandals They tell you that they have only heard legends of the legends of the treasure this map supposedly leads to! The Treasure is unknown, but the many rumors surrounding it are incredible. Some say it's unlimited wealth, and some say unlimited power, while still others say it is merely a hoax; a trap set up by King Frumplebluff to capture the Pirates of Swashbuckler's Isle.
Daniel Olivander: Yes, avoiding any of King Frumplebluff's ships would be highly advisable. You turn to head to Forktown, but the ship you spied earlier grows closer. It's incredibly fast, possibly the fastest ship you have ever seen. You will not make it back to Forktown before this ship catches up with you. What do you do?
Olaf Braummeister: You are sailing the ocean with your somewhat tired and uneducated crew on your ship, the... how can you forget? What is your ship even called?

Plan a ruse. We don't happen to have any stolen uniforms around, do we?

Daniel Olivander: You try to plan a ruse, but your only idea fails as no stolen uniforms from the King's Guard reside anywhere on the S.S. Gangplank. A deckhand by the name of Peterly Lisburgh suggests that you anchor the ship and everyone hide, and when they board, your group of pirates strike. However, you realize this could be risky as they may just fire their cannons at you and not even bother to board.

Dock at Forktown to gather enough supplies to last us the trip there and back. Regardless of rumors, we will continue to the treasure thing place.

Chevy Lond: You dock at Forktown and the ship that was following appears to have vanished. You make your stay a short one, as you are obviously wanted by the King's Guard for piracy and other assorted crimes. You gather all the supplies that you'll need for the four day sailing journey and shove off. A day out, everything seems to be running smoothly, except for the silhouette of a ship off in the distance. You're unsure if it's the same as before, but it is closing in on you relatively quickly, as did the previous ship.

Continue until the ship begins to catch up, then suddenly turn around and take them head on. They'll never see a surprise attack coming.

Chevy Lond: You continue on course, and the ship that was following you has finally caught up. The island that holds the Treasure is within sight. Suddenly, they begin to open fire on you with their cannons.
Daniel Olivander: You pull this maneuver, and it successfully catches them off-guard. You begin to exchange cannon fire, and for a while it appears that you may come out the victor. However, a hulking beast rises from the water. Your crew halts and gazes in wide-eyed terror as the creature brings down its mighty fist upon your vessel. It splinters into thousands of pieces, and crew members go flying alongside the rest of your ship's cargo. You fly high into the air and crash into the water. You rise to the surface, gasping for air. The monster is no longer in sight, but the other ship is still there. They appear to be surveying the wreckage.

All of my men should have been ready for attack. So, I steer the ship around and attempt to plow the front of the ship into the opposing ship.

Chevy Lond: Your men fire back with their cannons, doing decent damage to the enemy ship. It is still unclear who their affiliation is with. You attempt a ramming maneuver, which succeeds, dealing heavy damage to the enemy ship, but also some minor damage to your ship. However, a hulking beast rises from the water. Well what the fuck.
Kill myself.
Or, if possible, harness the power of Poseidon and destroy them with a wave of hurricanes and giant squids.

Attempt to sneakily board the ship

Olaf Braummeister: Ah yes, the S.S. 1738. What a clever and totally original name! As you sail toward the Treasure marked on your map, which you received from a strange old man in the last town, you notice another ship sailing straight for yours.
Chevy Lond: Well, you can't harness Poisedon's powers, and I don't really think you'd want to kill yourself, but I mean, it's your prerogative. Suddenly, you are dragged out of the water and into a rowboat. It is clear now that these men are not members of the King's Army. They are definitely pirates; sweaty, dirty, rotten pirates. They haul you aboard the ship, and throw you onto the deck. Some members of your crew are also there, including Jim Belfry, Fried-Eye Johnson, Bufus Beligerry, and Simon Sandals. Suddenly, a door opens and there stands who you presume to be the captain of this vessel. He cackles evilly. "Greetings, Cap'n Lond. How was yer swim?"
Daniel Olivander: You attempt to sneak onto the ship, but there isn't anywhere to grasp. Instead, you try to sneak onto the rowboat which is now combing the waters. You swim up to it underwater, and come up for air beside it. You pull out your dagger, which luckily remained inside your vest, and pull yourself into the ship. You manage to slice one of the men, and throw him into the water. The other man grabs you from behind and puts his dagger to your throat. You struggle to attempt to stab the man, but to no avail. The other crew member boards the boat, and punches you several times in the face. The rowboat is lifted back onto the pirate ship, and you are thrown onto the deck where three other crew members await: Johnson Cena, Howard Duckleton, and Rudy Riptide. The captain walks out of his room, and onto the deck. He evilly laughs, then says: "Greetings, Cap'n Olivander. How was yer swim?"
